Mobile: MeTV

In order to increase data usage over its mobile network, our client wanted its customers to send more videos from their phones. However,most people thought it was a bit too troublesome to share videos, even though it was a relatively simple procedure.

Therefore, we decided that people needed an incentive... so we launched MeTV. This was a bit like YouTube, in that you uploaded videos for others to watch. But unlike YouTube, you actually got paid every time someone viewed your masterpiece.


Campaign Overview

Media channels included print advertising, Point of Sale Materials, ambient advertising and a campaign site. The key channel we used, appropriately enough, was mobile itself.

The following mobile campaign was to raise awareness. Ads were sent via MMS to customers who had opted-in to receive advertising.



User-Generated Content

We received an enormous amount of content. Some were straight-forward video clips. Others were animations that users created with popular applications like Face Store.

The website includes a step-by-step guide to submitting content. 
We also refreshed the site reqularly by showcasing newly-updated content.
